Arkadiusz Opara B.Sc., P.M.P

Arkadiusz Opara, is a seasoned Senior Project Management professional with an extensive background in the IT sector. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix Online and a Diploma in Electronics Technology from Humber College. Ark currently serves as a Senior Project Manager at DealerTrack Inc., a position he has held since 2021. In this role, he exercises engineering leadership, guides peers in quality-oriented initiatives, and helps shape production systems from a technical perspective through to delivery within operation groups.

Prior to his current role, Ark held the position of Project Manager at DealerTrack Inc. for a decade, where he was responsible for project scheduling, technical direction, future planning, and promoting security best practices. During his tenure, he played a lead role in various high-impact projects, driving enhancements at both software and hardware levels to improve performance and reliability. He demonstrated adeptness in server system planning, maintenance, and support while providing leadership to junior staff.

From 2008 to 2011, Ark served as a Project Manager at Compugen / Ontario Realty Corporation. In this role, he served as an on-site liaison between the companies, leading a 6-person team of technicians and system administrators, and implementing plans to deliver infrastructure changes. He also demonstrated commendable customer service skills and the ability to meet tight project deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

At VMC Consulting, Ontario, he managed IT projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and setting standard development practices. He led a multi-disciplinary team, designing, launching, and supporting a fully equipped support site for Microsoft and Apple products, which had a budget exceeding $1M.
